Speakers Cup 2023 On Friday 10th March at 9am, our school held the Speakers’ Cup competition. Eight children said a speech on multiple topics including: medicines through the ages, football and Florence Nightingale. They were all really interesting but my favourite was Evie’s speech about secondary school. She came first! Francesca spoke about frogs and came second. Thomas spoke about American football and came third. Well done to all the people who took part in the competition. The judges were Mr Riley from Monk’s Walk school, Mrs Westley, Mrs Hesketh, a governor and Ben from Year 6. Thank you for judging and giving excellent feedback to each person.
