Nature Reserve

butterfly Our PTFA have worked very hard to renovate our nature reserve area and install an outdoor classroom.
The Nature Reserve Project started at the end of 2009 and with the help of parents and staff, and the support of Sherrardswood Woodwardens, we have created a fantastic outdoor learning space.  Picture6a

We are very proud of our Nature Reserve which is one of the largest of its kind in Hertfordshire. frog

Visit the Nature Reserve website which includes an interactive map showing the type, size and location of over 250 trees, the various structures, water features and pathways located within the nature reserve.  Click on the map to find out about all the features and bring up photographs and links to the Woodland Trust’s British Trees website, where you can find out how to identify the ash, beech, maple and other trees.
