Sons of Pitches

A huge thank you to Ms Anstey for organising the Sons of Pitches return visit to Welwyn St Mary’s. They were as talented as ever and delighted pupils with an assembly and workshop in the afternoon.

The concert was probably the best event of the day. They sang lots of songs and made two improvisations. The first was the ‘Handy Calculator’ in the style of rock and soft. The second was ‘The Receipt for the Slippers is by the Hob in the Kitchen’ in the style of country and western and death metal. They also sang ‘Ribena’, a version of ‘Tequila’, and my brother got to go on stage. They sang lots of recognisable songs and we all had a great time. I hope they come again soon.
